i have had my cooker for a wile now and iv cooked everything in it. iv cooked beans in about an hour, potatoes in under 20 mins, iv cooked meat and yes i have cooked rice. the only problem i have is that i cant make brown rice soft. iv tried several ways and i just cant get it soft. and if you want to try some of the best mexican rice iv had, put your rice and water in the cooker. then take a pak of dry taco season mix and stir it in to the rice and water and cook like normal. you will be surprised!

Worst microwave rice cooker I have used in 60 years. I have used other microwave rice cookers without problems. Following the manufacturer's exact directions, the rice cooker spills during cooking in the microwave, spilling hot rice water onto and beyond the carousel plate beneath, and making a huge mess. The device makes only tiny amounts of rice, not even well cooked. This rice cooker is like a child's toy in a pretend kitchen. The design is flimsy, cheap, and does not work. Very disappointing.
